These creatures prey on whatever discards and refuse might tumble down to their abodes from the surface world, though Dwarves have reportedly sighted the creatures at time venturing into their own layers of Tharador’s subterrain, taking lone travellers or children from their cribs and beds. Often they are used as a tale to scare children about not wandering the caverns alone.
