Granny Nora – Voyeur Hag
 
Worship of the Dark Divine had encompassed Nora’s life for as long as she could remember. She was not seduced to the side of evil like so many others. No, she was born into it, and her heart was given to Idinhelieth and Seroca when she was still a young, desirable woman. For her and Duke Conrad were cut from the same cloth, servants of Seroca that were destined to live and die under his veil. They both hailed from the Belfrian sect of the cult, though Nora was outed as a witch in Adobathian over sixty years ago when she was still young, and Conrad’s ascension to the Dukedom of Tradver came soon after.
 
So she was hunted, with a pyre intended to be her end when she was caught. Though the dark magics of Seroca were hers to wield, and she was illusive, slipping through the grasp of her pursuers time and again until she crossed over the mountains into Nan Thalias. It was three years after her escape that the downfall of Elen Estel came to be. Nora had made a home in the nearby forest of Tryamin when the city was engulfed in a great flood. It was after that when Nora’s purpose to Seroca was made manifest. Her form was contorted by Seroca and Idinhelieth as they took her body and empowered it with their dark magics, transmogrifying her into a treacherous Voyeur Hag, using her to keep a constant watch of their latest scheme within Nan Thalias.
 
So she became the sentinel and watcher of the new decaying land that Mindoriel’s Spawn had begun to brew in the forests of Nan Thalias. She would provide constant command to the other creatures of the forest, watching all who entered and ensuring few ever left. Often she would appear to some of those in her lair, projecting herself as a beautiful maiden, a druid who lived among the trees. Though often she would bring them back to her home, killing them in their sleep and making a stew out of them for breakfast. With Conrad’s return she has stowed the Duke in the depths of her abode, and has been instructed by her master’s to lure a new host for his soul to be transferred to.
