Yet he never sought to stand at those heights with his master, instead preferring the bounds of the earth and the willows of the swamp. Yet now he sees the action of the Silverscales will lead to the demise of all, and is happily giving himself to a cause which would see them eradicated. In secret, in his temple, he plots against the Silverscales, holding the remaining eggs of Sovram’s mate. It is now his duty to hatch them, to ensure the line of the Darkscales continues.
