Terrain Set – Cemetery of the Damned
When Springhaven was first built, several of its workers succumbed to illness or injury during the days of the colony’s establishment. This cemetery was first established to house those dead, though it was only makeshift graves at the time. As the colony grew more established, and disease kept grasping the colonists, the graveyard expanded, with the inclusion of two large tombs for the noble founding families that funded much of the isle’s founding, including the Voskarth and Gilmere families.
When Bloodlung gripped the colony however, the graveyard quickly was outgrown as the dead were piled in corpses and buried in mass graves in forest clearings. The graveyard was forgotten and damned, and the people of Springhaven followed it soon after as the colony was condemned to quarantine, all its inhabitants perishing soon after. Now the cemetery is used as the home of Celine de la Rouge’s nefarious plans, buried beneath the unassuming and overgrown graves of a half-century past.
